Action Menu

Near the bottom of the Gallery under the images is the Action pulldown menu. To perform any of the tasks inside this pulldown menu you must first select the checkbox beside the file(s) you would like to perform the action on, then select the action from the pulldown menu and finally press the GO button. The Action menu can perform the following tasks:

  1. Move Selected After: This action will move the selected file(s) after the specified number (in the box to the right) in the Gallery. Moving images in the Gallery does not have any effect on how they appear to visitors in an album but may be useful for organizing images and files into logical groupings.
  2. Delete Selected: This action will delete the files you have selected. They are permanently erased from the WebFilm. Gallery space is freed up.
  3. Delete Not in Album: This action will permanently delete any image or file in the Gallery that is not currently being used in any album. Gallery space is freed up.
  4. Copy Selected: This action will make a duplicate including captions and links of the files(s) selected by a checkbox.
  5. Copy Caption From: This action will copy the caption from the file listed in the box to the right of the Action menu to all the checked files. When used with the Select All checkbox, a master caption or features table can be copied to all other files in a single operation.
  6. Zip Selected: This action will create a single, compressed Zip file from the selected files. This is useful for inserting a single file in an album with all the photos and videos for downloading by a visitor. The new Zip file occupies space in the Gallery.
  7. Sort By File Name Reorders all images alphanumerically by their filename. This order remains this way when the WebFilm is next accessed.
  8. Rotate Left 90: Rotates selected image 90 degress counterclockwise
  9. Rotate Right 90: Rotates selected image 90 degress clockwise
  10. Reset Counters: In the Gallery there are counters beside each file that reveal how many times the particular file has been viewed and downloaded. This action will reset these counters. Use this to track visitor activity over a specific time period.
